This is a very rare set of 12 Cauldon dessert plates. Decoraterd by COULDON STOKE ON TRENT ENGLAND. This pattern was created by Cauldon exclusively for W. Plummer & Company, whose store was located in turn-of-the-century New York City; their back stamp.Plummer were retailers who catered to a wealthier client. They carried Limoges and specially ordere dinnerware.

(without further decoration) were not given a pattern number but were referred to by the name of the print.The above dates are based on dates in the surviving pattern books held at the Wedgwood Museum. The dates indicate when patterns were first introduced and do not relate to the actual year of manufacture of a particular piece. Some patterns vanished very quickly whereas others continued for years, even decades.
